I had different ideas about Oaxaca and didn't expect it to turn out this way. I'm glad that I came out here with my girlfriend and I am still learning more about this city.

It won't be a place I'll likely end up long-term. It doesn't seem like a sustainable city but I am sure it'll change over the years. It's hard to tell where it'll go.

I've been battling my feelings towards medicine for a long time. I don't know why, I could just accept my feelings and move along. But I'm having a hard time letting go of my previous beliefs regarding western medicine, my training, and how hard I've worked to get here.
