Somewhere along the way in my medical career, I started believing that I have do things the way I was told. I have done the same with life. But in both cases I have been wrong.
There are so many ways of doing the same thing and do it well. Here is what I've taken away from my experience as a doctor.

Learning to trust the universe and not battle constant friction has been a slow lesson, which I've learned.
It has made me realize that I am in less control than I thought, but that I am somehow taken care of in this big world.

All I want to say about this topic is that "career satisfaction" is a real thing. Maybe not all of us will achieve it but it is within reach and every step towards making your career more palatable will make it more likely for you to thrive in it.

I thought about the value I could bring to my physician community and immediately thought of the financial value of this.
Fine, maybe I think about money too much but I have many other insecurities as well - who's to judge.
However, I enjoy the idea of doing something I love which brings value to others. And anytime...
