Look, you can make it super complicated or you can just get it done and move on. In my online course, DocDigital, we are making our way through the Accountability Week and the students have 7 days to get EVERYTHING done to have their practice be 99% functional and ready, including seeing their first patient.

My girlfriend just had her visit iwth a specialist who is cash-based, meaning he charges cash and takes no insurance. Really great experience and for $500 per hour it was a good deal for my partner to get good quality care. I don't think she would have gotten care this good from a specialist in the insurance system...
